We had a successful meetinStudentsg with the student’s executives of Realiscope ( GSAN chapter of Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education) . However, the Youths needs to be engaged in the fight against OSU, Ume, and Ohu caste system through our SSO ( Students Sensitization because) because of the following reasons
1. The youths are the bedrock or the Foundation of tommorow’s societal revolution
2. Prevention of Parental transmission of the dogma of socio-cultural discrimination to maintain generation gap towards the Abolition exercise in Igbo society
3. The Youth’s Voice usually gains momentum in our society
4. The beginning of marriage starts from the Youthful age. Therefore the Youths need to be empowered for a reasonable decision making against socio-cultural boundaries which serve as major interefence against marriage
5. The Youths are the Fathers and Mothers of tommorow. There influences in the next 10, 20, and 30yrs in Igbo communities count alots towards the Abolition exercise and socio-cultural equality
6. Empower The Youths to know their Right against parental deception on the superstition of OSU, Ume, and Ohu caste system
7. As the Agent of social change, the Youths will contribute towards social, Gender, Traditional, and Cultural parity between the parties of different socio-cultural boundaries to enhance Peace and cohabitation of different families on Igbo society
About 400 Students will be engaged on the day of the conference and Seminar in Alvan Ikoku federal college of education, after which we will move to Imo State University, Federal University of Technology ( Futo) , Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Imo Poly, Fecolart and School of Health Amaigbo.
After imo state , we will switch over to Abia State University and Michael Okpara federal University ( Abia State) , UNN, ESUT, and IMT ( Enugu), UNIZIK and Ojukwu state University in Anambra state, and Ebonyi State University (Ebonyi) to reach reasonable students ( Youths) in the schools of South Eastern state.
